My Story
I’m Madds, a 24-year-old from Canada who took a leap of faith and moved to Australia with no plan other than wanting to experience life in a different way. I instantly fell in love with the vibrant coastal lifestyle. As I soaked in the beauty of the ocean, I noticed the reality: not everyone shared the same love and respect for the ocean.

Determined to make a difference, I made it a habit to pick up trash every time I visited the beach, ensuring it ended up in the right bins. This small act opened my eyes to the bigger issue of ocean pollution, and I found myself diving deeper into research on how to help clean up our beautiful coastline.
Inspiration struck when I thought about creating swimwear crafted with ECONYL® regenerated nylon made from waste that otherwise pollute the earth and transform it into something beautiful. I started watching YouTube videos on designing my own swim label, but progress was slow in those early years.
After two years of picking up trash and dreaming big, I realised that if I didn’t start now, I might never do it. Fast forward to today, and I’ve partnered with an ethical and sustainable manufacturer in Bali to bring my vision to life.

My swimwear not only celebrates the beauty of the ocean but also serves as a reminder that we all have a role in protecting our planet. Join me on this journey—together, we can make the ocean our shared passion and create a cleaner, healthier future for all.
